SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and the Asian Business Aviation Association (ASBAA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on April 17 in Shanghai, China for the development of Subic Bay International Airport (SBIA) Ink pact on Subic airport development.

MANILA, Philippines — The 3-in-1 2018 NTT Asia Cup Subic Bay International Triathlon slated April 21-22 at the Subic Bay Freeport promises to be the most significant edition ever.

April 14, 2018 was the date set on the calendar for car enthusiasts from all over central Luzon, the eagerly awaited 2018 Subic bay Auto Show was upon us, held at Harbor Point in Subic Bay’s Freeport Zone with those present all competing for the Best of Show award and numerous recognitions in their respective categories.

Not wanting to spend 5 hours in a car going Subic to Manila airport for example, (while driving past, then flying back over a perfectly good underutilized Clark airport!) I opted to frequently use Air Juan. Then they doubled their ticket prices from average 2,500 to 5,000p and started stinging me on luggage fees etc... back to square one.

I have been lucky enough to be invited to observe the 11th Commodores Cup Sailing Regatta being run here in Subic Freeport Zone, by Subic Sailing and the Lighthouse Resort. Both these groups have been working hard to turn Subic Bay into the number one spot for sailing and related activities in the Philippine’s, and form what I have seen they are well on the way to succeeding with that goal.
