JS Sazanami (DD-113) is the fourth vessel of the Takanami class destroyers of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF).Sazanami was authorized under the Medium-term Defense Buildup Plan of 1996, and was built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries shipyards in Nagasaki. She was laid down on 4 April 2002, launched on 29 August 2003. She was commissioned into service on 16 February 2005 and was initially assigned to the JMSDF Escort Flotilla 2 based at Sasebo.

BRP Davao del Sur (LD-602) is the second and last ship of her class of the Philippine Navy's landing platform docks.She is the second ship to be named after the Philippine province of Davao del Sur, one of the main provinces in Mindanao in Southern Philippines.She was launched on 29 September 2016 and she was commissioned into Philippine Navy service on 31 May 2017.
