A new dealership, this is another milestone for Toyota Motor Philippines which is proof of its stability, abundance and power. Toyota is one of the leading automotive manufacturers and dealers worldwide and it is now in Zambales. Toyota Subic, Inc. held its prestigious inauguration last November 8, 2018 at Marshalling Yard, Rizal Hi-way Subic Gateway District, Subic Bay Freeport Zone where various influential personalities attended the celebration. Hosted by Dr. David Go, Chairman of Toyota Subic Inc., Mr. Jose B. Tan Jr., President of Toyota Subic Inc., Mr. Carmelo Maria Luza Bautista, President, GT Capital Holdings together with other distinguished board of directors of Toyota Subic from JBT Global Holdings, Inc. and GT Capital Auto Dealership Holdings, Inc.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Alfred Ty, Vice Chairman, Toyota Motor Philippines, Mr. Satoru Suzuki, President of Toyota Motors Phil. Corp., Atty. Rommel Gutierrez, President of Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Phil. Inc., Mr. Antonio Zara III, President, GT Capital Auto Dealership Holdings, Mr. Rani Cruz, Deputy Administrator for Ports representing Senator Richard Gordon and Mr. Renato W. Lee III, Senior Deputy Administrator for Business Group representing SBMA Chairwoman Atty. Wilma T. Eisma, whom with the hosts took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
A speech from the president of Toyota Subic started the program. Mr. Jose B. Tan, Jr. announced that they are now ready to serve the Zambalenio community and he is proud to tell the audience that their state of the art service facilities with highly skilled team members can serve more than a hundred cars per day. He also discussed how strategic and convenient the location of the establishment is. Furthermore, he mentioned that Toyota Subic is not only about business but is a venture that recognizes its corporate social responsibility to the people and its obligation to the environment. Finally, Mr. Tan reminded the Toyota Subic team members not to be complacent as competitors never rests to surpass them.
Followed by the ribbon cutting ceremony which officially opened the Toyota Subic, Inc., Dr. David Go humbly delivered his speech. He said that Toyota is fully committed in providing the best vehicle ownership experience for individuals, families and businesses all these years. Toyota’s vision remains steadfast in continuing to reach out and make Toyota available and within reach for everyone. He said the Toyota Subic location is in a top economic center and a true and legitimate tourist destination which makes this dealership special. He envisions that every single customer who enters the dealer will leave the door with a happy face and a delighted heart. Dr. Go urges the Toyota Subic team to pursue the greatest mission to uphold the two pillars of Toyota namely respect for people and continuous improvement in their daily way of life. He conveyed to the Toyota Subic team members during his speech “that the management is counting on you to ensure what is promised to the Zambales community is fully realized”.
Of course, the ceremony will not end without the speech of the President of Toyota Motor Philippines. Mr. Satoru Suzuki commended Mr. Tan for his commitment in realizing the partnership and the success of the completion of the facility. He also commended Mr. Tan’s working culture for being consistent in performing above what it is expected. He challenged Toyota Subic to provide total customer satisfaction, ensuring all clients will leave with smiles on their faces and aim for excellence and congratulated them.
Subsequently, after the speakers thanked all their partners, stockholders, local government administrators, their valued guests, officers, board of directors and all other attendees, Mr. Jose B. Tan Jr. was given the KABUTO (The Kabuto is a helmet used with the traditional Japanese armour as worn by the samurai class and their retainers in Feudal Japan – a very prominent and important part of the equipment of the Bushi or Samurai. It symbolizes Courage… Honor… and Loyalty.) as a constant reminder that the dealership should never rest on the brand’s laurels. Toyota Subic shall continue Toyota’s tradition of providing the best products and service to all its customers.
To close the event, the Executive Vice President of Toyota Subic, Ms. Mary Evangeline Tan, led the ceremonial toast for the grand opening of the dealership.
