| Not just hearers but doers of the word of God. |
Deep Christians are doers of God’s Word. Get don’t just hear, but they also apply the word of God in their lives. They are like the wise man who built his house on rock. When the storm came the house remained steadfast because it was build on solid ground.
“There fore everyone who hears words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fall.” (Matthew 7:24,25)
There will be “rainy seasons” in our lives like family concerns or financial problems. “Streams will rise” like pressure, stress, or health concerns. And sometimes the “winds will blow” like temptations, loss, and discouragements. How do we respond to all these storms of life?
Christians who apply the Word of God are steadfast and strong in times of trials, because they are founded on solid ground: the Word of God! Applying the Word of God in a day-to-day basis is engaging with the Lord Jesus Christ. A person who is committed to applying the Word of God in their life will be transformed to the likeness of Christ; to become a mature, profound, and Dynamic Disciple of Jesus Christ.
Someone once said, “Truth does not change lives. It is truth applied that changes lives.” When you not only hear the Word of God but Genuinely put it into practice, you are assured that your faith will be steadfast in these times of trials.
God wants us to grow DEEP in His Word. He wants us to be WISE according to His Word. He wants our lives to be STEADFAST through His Word. He wants us to be DOER of His Word.
“On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.”

Subic Bay Community of Faith started in the summer of 2010 when a vision of church planting in Subic Bay Freeport Zone was laid in the hearts of John Philip and Mei Chua Chiaco on September 25, 2010. Thirty-five people met for the first worship service Shortly thereafter, Rev. Noel Pantoja, assisted by his loving wife Jenny Pantoja was called to be the lead pastor/church planter of the new team. The group – with new contacts from SBFZ, Hermosa Bataan and Olongapo City – decided to meet every Sunday evening for prayer, fellowship, and study of God’s Word.
The church continued to grow steadily and expanded ministries to cater to the children, youth, young professionals, and adults of Subic Bay Freeport Zone. As a Church committed to evangelism and church planting. SBCF has engaged in numerous outreach activities that benefited the surrounding communities. The Church has also played host to numerous individual ministry workers, church leadership teams, and families for retreats, spiritual rejuvenation, and other related ministries.

| Rooted – Young Adults |
One of the fastest growing ministries in SBCF is the young adults’ group called ROOTED. Here, they follow the writings of Paul in Colossians 2:7 “Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.” This eccentric group of 18-30 year-old students and working professionals meet regularly on Monday nights to fellowship and dig in to the Word of God with lessons about work, relationships, family, and ministry. The primary goal of this ministry is to develop each person’s relationship with God and to be “rooted” in His Word so much so that they become walking testimonies of God’s goodness and faithfulness. But, they also emphasize the importance of building meaningful and lasting relationships with one another, acting as a network of support, encouragement, advice, and oftentimes, just a plain ol’ venue for fun and laughter!

| Kids HUB – Children |
Kids Hub is the children’s ministry of Subic Bay Community of Faith. We strongly believe that having the right Christian foundation – as well as building a genuine relationship with Christ – is very important in the upbringing of every child. Our aim, therefore, is to guide children in the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and help them grow in their relationship with God through creative activities and engaging discussions that are Biblical and age appropriate. Kids Hub offers classes to children ages 1-12 every Sunday, simultaneous with SBCF’s worship service.

| Ladies Link – Women |
Ladies’ Link is a ministry for women of all ages, stature, maturity, and influence. We gear towards knowing our true purposes in life. Through Christ, we bear the fruits of a changed life by leading others to Him, and strive to build a more Christ-centered relationship with our Lord Jesus filled with hope, faith, and love towards other ladies. Together, we discover new insights regarding the beauty of our God. Join us, and be empowered!

| Youth Wired – Teens |
YOUTH WIRED is a ministry of SBCF where a group of young people, aged 13-20, are led closer to God. We meet every Saturday afternoon to share the Word of God to the youth through small group discussions and fellowship. We aim for high school students so we can guide them in life with the help of God’s Word.
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” (John 15:1-4)

| LAN – Adults |
Local Adults Network is a venue for the adults of SBCF to fellowship and discover practical applications of the Bible regarding family, parenting, work, marriage, and relationships. Currently being led by Pastor Arnold Perona of GCF Ortigas, the group is studying about God’s “Biblical Portrait of Marriage” and how to promote harmony, unity, mutual respect, and overflowing love in our relationship with our spouses! Whether you’re happily married, or single and preparing for marriage, get connected and join us as we gather once a month to build up one another and help each other grow deeper in our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

| Run – Workout |
RUN is a unique ministry of SBCF focused on strengthening not only our relationship with God but also strengthening our physical body. God commands us in 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 to take care of our body and honor Him with it. Join us every Saturday at 7:30 am as we RUN and obey God’s command to live a healthier lifestyle.

| Firewall – Worship |
At SBCF, we value worshipping God through songs of praise. In the FIREWALL Music Ministry, we have a group of committed musicians dedicated to coming together on a weekly basis to practice and rehearse the songs for our services. But more than that, they journey alongside each other through prayer, encouragement, accountability, and by growing deep in God’s word. The Bible describes many forms of worshipping God. However, there is only one key ingredient that matters most and that is LOVE. No matter what we say or what we do, if we do so without love, everything is meaningless.

| Mainframe – Multimedia |
Mainframe is the multimedia arm of SBCF. This actually isn’t a new ministry. We’ve always been around; always seen, but hardly ever heard. You can usually spot us behind a camera or a laptop. We’re a group ministering for God using the talents He has given us from photography, videography, sound engineering, multimedia presentations, social media management, editorials, to graphic design. Yes, even this lovely bulletin you’re holding was designed by us, for the Glory of God! Has He blessed you with a talent? If so, we are looking for individuals to help document, architect, and share the Word of God through art! Join us!
