Palace declares May 13 a special nonworking holiday

MANILA – President Rodrigo Duterte has declared May 13, 2019, a special non-working holiday as the nation holds the national and local elections.

Duterte signed on May 9 Proclamation No. 719 declaring May 13 a special non-working holiday to “enable the people to properly exercise their right to vote.”
