Cabalan gets rescue equipment

Subic Enerzone Corp. & Aboitiz Foundation, led by its General Manager Warell Kern Sario, recently presented rescue boat and equipment to Barangay Old Cabalan, represented here by Brgy. Captain Lester Nadong and Barangay Councilmen Dong Galang and Vic Tuazon to help equip the barangay further in its disaster and rescue efforts.

Old Cabalan is a multi-awarded LGU and champion Quick Emergency Response Unit (QERU). The boat and rescue equipment donation is the fourth made by Enerzone since 2015 with barangays Sta. Rita, WBB, and Kalaklan being the recipients of the first three.

The presentation of the donation was witnessed by Olongapo vice mayor Jong Cortez, councilor Bas Palo, Enerzone HR manager Mars Escobar (4th from right), Jeff Figuerres Enerzone CSR coordinator, and other barangay officials.
